BSNL revises its Sixer plan, increases validity of benefits

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has revised its Sixer prepaid plan, increasing its validity and adding free roaming benefits for voice calling. While the overall validity remains the same, benefits have received an extended validity.

Talking about the changes, the revised plan will be valid from September 1. The older plan and the revised one both have the same validity of 90 days in J&K and North East and 180 days in other states. The core changes come under data, voice calling, and roaming validities.

BSNL Sixer Plan

The BSNL Sixer Plan is a prepaid plan from BSNL, priced at Rs. 666. It was introduced back in June this year. The plan has been revised by the company and the validity of benefits increased. Here are the points where this plan has received addition.

Firstly, the overall validity of BSNL Sixer prepaid plan remains the same, 90 days for J&K and North East and 180 days for other states. The revised plan has increased unlimited data validity from 60 days to 90 days.

Secondly, you will now get 90 days of unlimited voice calling, which is 30 days more than the earlier plan. These calls will be valid even when you are roaming across the country (except Delhi and Mumbai).

Even after these free benefits end, the plan offers affordable local and STD calls at 50 paise/min. SMS are also pegged at 25 paise/minute for local and 35 paise/min for National SMS.

How to avail this?

You can avail the BSNL Sixer Pack by recharging your BSNL prepaid number by Rs. 666 offline or online . Since the revised plan is valid from September 1, if you recharge before then, you will get the benefits of the earlier plan only.
