Coolpad launched another budget segment smartphone, Note 5 Lite in India. Coolpad Note 5 Lite looks like a trimmed down version of Coolpad Note 5. Both devices look very similar in terms of design, however the Note 5 Lite comes with a bit lower specification. Although being a budget smartphone, it sports a premium build and design like its sibling Note 5. It features a metal unibody design with chamfered edges.
Coolpad has priced the Note 5 Lite at Rs. 8,199. It will be available for sale from tomorrow. It comes in Gold and Grey colour options.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite Specifications
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite features a 5 inch HD (720p) IPS LCD display. The phone comes with a 70.6% screen-to-body ratio and a pixel density of ~294ppi. It is powered by a Mediatek MT6735CP quad core chip-set clocked at 1GHz and is paired with ARM Mali-720 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage which is expandable up to 64 GB using a microSD card.
On the imaging front, the Note 5 Lite has got an 13 MP rear camera with autofocus, single LED flash and an 8 MP front camera with LED flash. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Cool UI 8.0 skin on top. It comes in a metallic unibody design with a Fingerprint scanner on the back.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Dual SIM, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, and a micro USB port. Sensors include accelerometer, proximity, light, and fingerprint sensor. It packs a 2,500 mAh battery with a standby time up to 200 hours. It measures 145.3 x 72.3 x 8.7 mm and weighs 148 grams.
