Reliance Jio Summer Surprise Offer has officially ended. While those who have availed it can enjoy three more months of free benefits, there are still millions who haven’t been able to enroll for it. The company now claims to bring new tariff packs with exciting deals to reimburse the early withdrawal of the Summer Surprise Offer.
With the intervention of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance had to hastily withdraw its free plan. This came as a shock to many people who merrily celebrating the date extension of Jio Prime Membership and the Summer Surprise Offer. Most of them didn’t even recharge on 6th April when Reliance announced the closure of the offer. This was due to the fact that the last date was April 15, which was still more than a week away. This displeased lots of customers who even started a petition against TRAI’s intervention. Many people found the premature withdrawal to be fishy considering Jio has not been so much obedient to TRAI before. Nevertheless, Reliance has acknowledged the growing discontent among its consumers and announced that a new tariff plan is coming soon with a fresh set of offers.
Unfortunately, the telecom operator has not yet disclosed any details about the upcoming tariff packs nor they have spoken about the ‘more exciting offers’ that are coming with it.
