Gionee A1 Plus Launched With 6-inch Display, 4550 mAh Battery At Rs. 26,990

Gionee A1 Plus has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 26,990. The latest smartphone from Gionee comes with a 6 inch display and a big 4550 mAh battery. The A1 Plus also features a 20MP front camera, catering to all the selfie fans out there.

The Gionee A1 Plus is another addition to Gionee A1 series. The China-based company had launched the A1 and A1 Lite, in addition to the A1 Signature Edition in India. Gionee had announced the A1 Plus along with the A1 earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress.

The Gionee A1 Plus comes with a big 6 inch Full HD IPS LCD display, with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone’s pixel density stands at ~367 PPI.

The phone also features a unibody metal design. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s Amigo OS 4.0 on top.

Powering the A1 Plus is an octa-core Mediatek Helio P25 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.5 GHz. The graphics duties are handled by Mali T880 GPU. In terms of memory, the phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The other main attraction of the A1 Plus is its camera. On the rear, the phone features a dual camera setup – 13MP main camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, Phase Detection Autofocus and a second 5MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

On the front, the phone comes with a 20MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and a front LED flash.

Other features of the A1 Plus include a fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers with Maxx audio support.

Connectivity options include a hybrid dual SIM card slot, 4G VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The phone is powered by a 4550 mAh battery and supports fast charging.

Pricing and Availability

Gionee A1 Plus has been priced at Rs. 26,990. It comes in Mocha Gold and Black colour options. It will be available in retail stores across the country starting tomorrow.
