The Mighty Gionee Elife E8 Now In India for INR 34,999

Gionee has finally launched its flagship Gionee Elife E8 in India. Nearly 4 months ago, the company first announced this smartphone in China and now finally brings the phone to India, priced at INR 34,999.

Gionee devices are known to hold a good camera and seems like the Elife E8 takes it to the next level with a 24 Megapixel camera. The whopping 24 MP camera, which used a large 1/2.3 inch sensor with f/2.0, dual-tone LED flash, optical stabilizer and quick autofocus; Gionee promises 0.08 to 0.2 seconds autofocus speed and the camera is capable of recording 4K videos. It claims to be the first Android phone that offers lossless details even at 3X zoom. Up front, is a wide angle 8-megapixel selfie camera, and Gionee claims that the camera app can be launched in less than a second.

While you thought you have seen it all with, the Elife E8 might surprise you, the smartphone is the top-range device for Gionee and surely has several hardware features to value it. It carries the latest Mediatek processor, it features 2 GHz 64-bit octa-core processor on the Mediatek Helio X10 chipset paired with 3 GB of RAM. The Internal memory is 64 GB. Connectivity options include 4G LTE and NFC. The smartphone is powered by a 3500 mAh battery, and it supports fast charging.

But this is not all, with that huge price comes a lot more in the package. It includes a huge 6 inch Quad HD AMOLED (2560 x 1440 p, 490 ppi) display. It also features a fingerprint scanner below the camera, which adds extra safety to the phone. The operating system is Android 5.1 Lollipop with Gionees very own Amigo 3.1 UI on top.


The Gionee Elife E8 will be available for the buyers from October 12 exclusively on Snapdeal, and it is priced at INR 34,999
