Gionee Gpad G4, which was reported with a “coming soon tag” a couple of weeks back, has now arrived  in India for Rs. 18,999. The large display phablet with unibody Aluminum body design houses MT6589T processor under the hood and will compete against tablets like Xolo Q3000 and Intex Aqua Octa.

The 5.7 Inch display of Gionee Gpad G4 sports 720p HD resolution. MT6589T chipset compliments this display resolution quite well and this will be a consolation for the reduced pixel density as compared to phablets like Xolo Q3000.

The processor employed is MT6589T turbo processor which was in much demand up to couple of months back. The processor coupled with 1 GB RAM will provide with sufficient power to carry your day to day tasks smoothly. The internal storage is 16 GB and can be further extended to 32 GB using MicroSD support.

The Aluminum unibody design of this phablet houses a 13 MP camera at the back and a 5 MP shooter at the front. Body dimension are 163.5 x 81.3 x 7.95 mm and as noted the device will be quite sleek. On the software front you will get Android 4.2 Jelly bean.

The battery capacity is 3200 mAh which is average considering the display size. Other features include in-built DTS audio, gesture features, Gionee Xender App, 3G, WiFi , Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS support.
