Honor 7A announced with FullView display, dual rear cameras: Full specs, price

Huawei’s smartphone brand Honor has announced a new smartphone dubbed as Honor 7A in China. The latest smartphone from Honor is a budget phone but it comes with some latest trending features. The phone has an HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 430 and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

Honor has also integrated the dual camera in the budget phone and it comes with a 13MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary camera. The phone also has face unlock feature like most of the Honor smartphones and it can scan 1024 facial features. Honor 7A price starts at 799 yuan (Rs. 8,250 approx.) for the base version and it will go on sale in China from April 3.

Honor 7A specifications

Honor 7A sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) FullView 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top. The Dual SIM phone has dedicated card slot for two SIM cards and microSD card.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU. Memory wise it packs, 2GB or 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 256GB with microSD.


In the camera department, it has the dual rear camera with a 13MP primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and a secondary 2MP rear camera for depth effects. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.

The phone features a back mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. The device gets power from a 3000mAh built-in battery.

Honor 7A Price and availability

The Honor 7A is priced at 799 yuan (Rs. 8,250 approx.) for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage version. While the 3GB RAM with 32GB version costs 999 yuan (Rs. 10,315 approx.). The phone comes in Black Gold and Blue colors and is now available for order. It will go on sale in China from April 3.
