Honor 7X with dual cameras, 18:9 display to come to India on December 5

Chinese smartphone maker Honor is all set to launch its latest mid range device, the Honor 7X in India on December 5. It is the successor of the Honor 6X and was launched in China in October. Honor has announced on Twitter that the device will be launched at an event in London on December 5.

The Honor 7X is the successor of the Honor 6X and comes with an improved dual camera setup and an all new 18:9 display. The device was launched in China starting at CNY 1,299 (Rs. 12,700) and is expected to be launched with a similar price tag in India. The company has been teasing that the device will come at an “unbeatable price” in India.

Honor 7X Specifications

The Honor 7X runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 skinned on top. The device features a 5.93 inch LTPS IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. As the leaks indicated, the Honor 7X comes with minimal bezels.

The Honor 7X is powered by an Octa core Kirin 659 processor clubbed with MaliT830-MP2 GPU, 4GB RAM and will come with 32GB / 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. The storage on the device can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the Honor 7X comes with a dual camera setup at the back. It comes with a 16MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary camera. The camera also comes with Phase detection autofocus and an LED flash. On the front, the device sports an 8MP secondary camera.

The Honor 7X is powered by a 3,340mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0, GPS and FM Radio.

The Honor 7X is expected to be priced starting at Rs. 12,999 in India. The device will be available exclusive from Amazon India starting from December 7 in India. In China, the device has been launched in Gold, Aurora Blue and Black color options.
