HTC Desire 820s Dual SIM that is a variant of the Desire 820 smartphone is announced for the Indian market. As per the information from the Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the Desire 820s will be priced at Rs 24,490 and it is claimed to be available from tomorrow. However, the listing is removed now. Notably, the device is listed on eBay for a pricing of Rs 23,348.
To refresh on the specifications, the Desire 820s incorporates a MediaTek MT6752 SoC instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor in the Desire 820. This MediaTek MT6752 chipset is a 64 bit 1.7 GHz processor that is paired with 2 GB of RAM. The dual SIM HTC Desire 820s runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system topped with Sense 6.0 UI.
The Desire 820s boasts of a 5.5 inch HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It packs a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f2.2 aperture, 28 mm lens and FHD 1080p video recording. Also, there is an 8 MP secondary front facing snapper with FHD 1080p video calling ability. There is 16 GB of internal storage on the Desire 820s that is expandable via micro SD card up to 32 GB. Connectivity wise, the handset includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G and 4G LTE features and it is fueled by a 2,600 mAh battery.
