Karbonn has today introduced another low cost smartphone, Karbonn Titanium Dazzle, with perforated rear back texture and ‘value for money’ hardware. The handset doesn’t deviate much or fall short of, from what is expected at this price point today.
The large size 5 Inch display features FWVGA resolution, resulting in 196 ppi. It’s not a very sharp display, but shouldn’t be a deal breaker for first time users. The handset is powered by 1.2 GHz quad core processor with unspecified details.
There is 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage, which is the best you could hope for under 6K. 32 GB secondary MicroSD card storage is also an option. Out of the box, this dual SIM phone will run Android 4.4 KitKat.
Imaging hardware includes a basic 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front shooter. Other features include average 1830 mAh battery, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
Karbonn is also trying to entice users with features like Swipe, which allows you to change music by simply swiping on the screen. Then there is Smart Eye, which tracks your eye movement and pauses video clips when you look away.
