Lava has come up with a new entry level smartphone called Lava Iris 465 for a pricing of Rs 4,499. The new smartphone supports 21 Indian languages. Besides this, the device comes with support for dual SIM functionality and 3G connectivity as well.
The Lava Iris 465 boasts of a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels and it employs a 1.3 GHz dual core processor. This processor is backed by a mere 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of default memory capacity that can be further enhanced up to 32 GB.
Running on Android 4.4 KitKat, the Lava Iris 465 is given a 3.2 MP main camera with LED flash and a VGA front facing selfie shooter for basic video conferencing. The handset is packed with connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and is energized by a 1,750 mAh battery operating within it.
Talking about the regional language support, the Lava smartphone comes with Hindi, Bodo, Sanskrit, Nepali, Marathi, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Sindhi, Bengali, Assamese, Maithili, Maniouri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Santali, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam and Kannada languages support.
The Lava Iris 465 comes is priced at Rs 4,499 and it will be available for sale via e-commerce portals from the next week.
