After launching the K8 Note in India, Lenovo today launched the K8 Plus at an event. The device comes with a dual camera setup and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery. The device has been priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and will be sold exclusively by Flipkart from September 7 at 12PM.

Lenovo K8 Plus Specifications

The Lenovo K8 Plus runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The device features a 5.2-inch full HD IPS LCD display with a 2.5D curved glass. In terms of protection, the display comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass and Oleophobic coating. Lenovo has confirmed that the K8 Plus will soon be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo.

The K8 Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 chipset. In terms of storage, the device comes in two variants, the first variant comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and the second variant comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Lenovo has added a dedicated microSD card slot with the device.

Coming to the camera department, the Lenovo K8 Plus comes with a dual camera setup at the back. The primary 13MP camera comes with a Purecel Plus sensor which captures RGB images and the 5MP camera comes with a Samsung depth sensor, which will give a bokeh effect to the images. On the front, the device sports an 8MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture, 86 degree wide angle lens and a front flash, which the company is calling Party flash.

Powering the device is a 4,000mAh battery, which the company claims will last for up to two days. Connectivity options on the device include dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB port. It also comes with support for Dolby Atmos surround sound.

Pricing and Availability

The Lenovo K8 Plus has been priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM variant. The device will go on sale starting from tomorrow at 12PM exclusively on Flipkart. The company also announced that they will launch a 4GB RAM variant during Diwali.
