The culture of dual camera setup is catching pace as more and more consumers now prefer a good camera smartphone. In order to make its place in the particular segment, Micromax is all set to introduce its first dual camera smartphone whose teaser is finally released. Before the official teaser, a couple of live images and full specs already surfaced the internet and now the official teaser is released by the company.
But, in the teaser, the name of the phone and launch date are not depicted. According to the earlier leak, the upcoming Micromax smartphone will feature a metal unibody design and a fingerprint sensor, which will be integrated to the home button. The dual camera setup will include a combination of 13MP and 5MP sensors at the rear which will be further accompanied by a LED flash. At the front, the smartphone will feature a 5MP selfie shooter which will be backed by LED flash.
The smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch FHD display and will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek SoC processor. This will be also coupled to a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The smartphone will run on Android Nougat 7.0 and will support 4G VoLTE. Though the company has not mentioned anything on its price but, it is expected that the smartphone will be priced under Rs. 15,000.
Micromax has seen downside in different segments with the entry of other prominent tech giants. With the new smartphone, the company might push to take the lost market share in a significant manner. Let’s see what the upcoming smartphone has to offer.
