Motorola Moto G5S is the next Lenovo smartphone to be leaked. It comes with a full metal construction along with a 5.2 inch full HD display. It looks like Motorola is rectifying all of the mistakes it did in the Moto G5 series. The company has the Moto G5S Plus on the line too. That would come with a 5.5-inch screen and dual camera setup.
Motorola Moto G5S Specifications, Release Date, and Pricing
The first thing you will notice in the leaked press render of Moto G5S is the presence of antenna lines. This confirms that the upcoming smartphone will be completely made of metal. This will indefinitely make it look a lot more premium than the Moto G5.
Coming to the specifications, the Moto G5S will sport a 5.2 inch full HD (1080 x 1920) display. This is a bit larger than the 5-inch LCD of its predecessor. Internally, the Snapdragon 435 SoC may sit inside the upcoming handset. This means that the Moto G5S and the Moto G5 will feature similar performance levels. The former will just get a better 4G mode.
Memory-wise, the upcoming phone is expected to rock 3 GB of RAM along with 32 GB of onboard storage. Android 7.1.1 Nougat will be available out of the box. The fingerprint scanner of the Moto G5S is placed at its Home Button similar to the Moto G5.
Speaking of the camera, the 12 MP dual pixel snapper of the Moto G5 Plus may make into the Moto G5S. However, this is purely a speculation at the moment. However, the latter will certainly boast a front LED flash which is absent in the Moto G5.
Talking about connectivity, the Moto G5S will be similar to its predecessor. There will be support for 4G LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi and other usual options. The battery capacity of the forthcoming phone is still unknown.
With all these leaks accumulation one after the other, we expect that Lenovo may launch the Moto G5S in the coming weeks. Regarding pricing, the upcoming handset should cost similar to the Moto G5 if not greater.
