Nokia 7 Plus with dual cameras, Snapdragon 660 launched in India: Price, offers, more

HMD Global has launched the Nokia 7 Plus in India today, featuring a 6-inch Full HD+ display and a dual camera setup on the back. HMD Global had announced the smartphone at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year alongside the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 1 and the Nokia 8810 4G.

Running on stock Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, the Nokia 7 Plus, along with other new Nokia Android smartphones, is a part of Google’s Android One program. This means that HMD Global will continue to maintain its phones free of any bloatware and also continue to deliver fast updates.

Nokia 7 Plus Specifications

The Nokia 7 Plus runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. It features a 6 inch full HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Nokia 7 Plus

In terms of performance, the Nokia 7 Plus runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the device features a dual camera setup on the back – there is a 12MP primary camera with a f/1.75 aperture, 1.4-micron pixels and a secondary 13MP camera, assisted by a dual tone dual LED flash. On the front, the Nokia 7 Plus comes with a 16MP f/2.0 camera. It is worth noting that all the three cameras are powered by Carl Zeiss lens and the phone will come with the Nokia Pro Camera and Nokia Pro audio experience.

Other specs of the smartphone include a fingerprint sensor, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and NFC. The phone is backed by a 3,800mAh battery.
