Nokia X7 with notch display, ZEISS optics, Snapdragon 710 launched: Price, specifications

HMD Global has launched it’s latest mid-range smartphone in Nokia X series in China dubbed as Nokia X7. To be noted, the same smartphone is expected to be launched in India and other countries as Nokia 7.1 Plus.

The key features of the new Nokia X7 include a 6.18-inch FHD+ notch display, Snapdragon 710 processor, a 12MP+13MP dual rear camera with ZEISS optics, stock Android 8.1 Oreo and 3500mAh battery with fast charging support.

Nokia X7 Specifications

If we talk about full specs, the Nokia X7 sports a 6.18-inch Full HD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio and HDR video playback. It has a glass back and a fingerprint sensor on it. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and also upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie.

Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 10nm processor with Adreno 616 GPU. Memory wise, it packs 4GB RAM with 64GB storage or 6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB storage. The storage is expandable up to 400GB with microSD.

In terms of camera, it sports dual rear camera with a 12MP primary camera with ZEISS optics, Sony IMX363 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 1.4μm pixels, OIS, and a 13MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. There is a 20MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It comes with pixel binding that can combine four pixels to make one 1.8μm large pixel. It also has AI beauty and AI portrait Modes, and new dual-view mode.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. It also supports Nokia OZO Stereo Audio recording. The device packs a 3500mAh battery with fast charging support.

Price, specifications

The Nokia X7 is priced at 1699 yuan (Rs. 18,100 approx.) for the 4GB+64GB version. The 6GB+64GB version costs 1999 yuan (Rs. 21,300 approx.) while the top-end model with 6GB+128GB costs 2499 yuan (Rs. 26,625 approx.). The smartphone comes in Dark Blue, Red, Silver and Midnight Black colors and it will go on sale in China from October 23.
