Today, OnePlus has launched a $15 earphones – the OnePlus Silver Bullet, which feature a brushed metallic feel (and the price tag as well), reminiscent of Xiaomi Piston. This new addition to OnePlus One accessories portfolio will ship to 16 OnePlus recognized destinations starting next week.
OnePlus also talked about its diligent testing process, whereby the headphone jack was twisted and tested over 30,000 times to ensure its durability. The inline remote has three buttons and can be used to control music, attend calls and adjust volume. If need be, you can also use this remote as a camera shutter key. We really hope this has been meticulously tested to the same extent as well.
At these prices, they will compete with Xiaomi Piston in ear headphones, which have earned global recognition, but, like everything Xiaomi, you would should be fortunate to buy one.
OnePlus has already started working on establishing itself in India, and when that materializes, we can expect OnePlus Silver Bullet Earphones to come along. For now the Chinese startup will ship only in US, Canada, HK, Taiwan, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Sweden, Finland.
