Reliance JioPhone delivery started: Know your JioPhone status

Reliance has officially confirmed that they have started shipping the 6 million units of the JioPhone in a phased manner. The pre-orders for the JioPhone opened in August and were soon shut because of over a million bookings done online.

Replying to a tweet by a consumer about the JioPhone delivery, Lyf Smartphones twitter page My Lyf responded that they have started the delivery of Reliance JioPhone in a phased manner. In a series of tweets, My Lyf also tweeted that they will inform the customers via SMS notifications.

It’s worth recalling that there were reports about the JioPhone delivery being delayed. Pre-orders for the JioPhone had started on August 24th, with Reliance Jio that it was booked by millions of customers.

About Reliance JioPhone

The Reliance JioPhone is a feature phone and comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display. It is a 4G VoLTE feature phone with Jio SIM locked into it. The Reliance JioPhone even gets a 2MP rear and a VGA front camera.

Backed by dual-core Spreadtrum 9820A processor with Mali-400 GPU, the Reliance JioPhone comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage. You can expand this storage up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone runs on KaiOS and features Jio apps with bundled data offers from Reliance Jio.

Powered by a 2,000 mAh battery, the Reliance JioPhone is a 4G VoLTE feature phone. Standard connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, Micro USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm earphone jack.

How to check your JioPhone status

As we reported earlier, you can check the status of your Reliance JioPhone delivery by calling Jio customer care number (18008908900) using your registered mobile number.

You can also track your JioPhone order online. For this, you can download MyJio app on your existing phone and access the ‘Track Order’ segment. Here you will have to punch in the details of your order and you will know the status.

Since Reliance has started the delivery and distribution of JioPhone in a phased manner, you should get your Reliance JioPhone before Diwali.
