Samsung is all set to launch its next-generation Galaxy A series in 2018. We have already seen Galaxy A5 and A7 (2018) recently. Now, the front panel of the alleged Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has been spotted in a render. The leaked image of Galaxy A8 (2018) reveals its minimal bezels and dual camera on the front.
If we recall, Samsung last launched the Galaxy A8 in 2016 and since then there has been no upgrade for that phone until now. However, recently its siblings from Galaxy A series have been leaked and rumors are that they will feature an infinity display. Now, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is in rumors as the top-end model in the Galaxy A series.
The leaked front panel of Galaxy A8 (2018) was published on GizChina. The front panel images show two circular cut-outs suggesting a dual-selfie camera setup on the phone. Samsung hasn’t yet introduced dual front camera in any phone, however, the company adopted the dual rear camera for its Galaxy Note 8 earlier this year and also launched the Galaxy J7+ as an affordable dual-camera smartphone back in September.
Coming to the Galaxy A8(2018), apart from the dual selfie camera, the leaked panel also suggests thin bezels on the left and right of its display. However, the panel doesn’t look curved, like Samsung’s previous flagships S8/S8+. However, the actual design of the front panel will only be visible when the actual image of the handset surfaces.
Previously, we have seen leaks of a couple of upcoming Galaxy A series phones of 2018. Earlier this month, the Galaxy A5 (2018) and the Galaxy A7 (2018) were listed on Wi-Fi and FCC certification site. If the details provided by the Wi-Fi Alliance are accurate, the Galaxy A5 (2018) and the Galaxy A7 (2018) will both run on Android 7.1 Nougat and have dual-band Wi-Fi support.
Also, some leaked renders of the Galaxy A5 (2018) had surfaced last week that showed a thin-bezel display and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The reports also suggested that the Galaxy A5 (2018) would come with a 5.5-inch full HD+ display and include an Exynos 7885 chip, coupled with 4GB RAM.
Samsung is planning to unveil its new Galaxy A series, including the Galaxy A5 (2018), Galaxy A7 (2018), and now the Galaxy A8 (2018) has also been added to the list. The phones are expected to be unveiled in January.
