Another smartphone in the popular Galaxy Grand series from the South Korean giant dubbed as, Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo has surfaced online. Samsung recently launched Galaxy Grand 2 in India as the successor of Samsung Galaxy Grand and this new upcoming smartphone finds its place somewhere in the middle.
According to the leaked specifications the display of this smartphone is 5 inches in size similar to the other two phones in the Galaxy Grand series. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will however sport only WVGA resolution similar to Galaxy Grand which is not that impressive on a 5 inch display.
The processor however has been enhanced to 1.2 GHz quad core similar to the Galaxy Grand 2. The processor cores are based on power efficient Cortex A7 architecture. The RAM capacity will be 1 GB and the internal storage will be 8 GB with MicroSD support.
The primary camera is rumored to have a 5 MP sensor and LED flash support where as a VGA camera is present at the front. The camera specs seem to be one step behind compared to even what Galaxy Grand is offering
As far as software goes, Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo will run on Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system with Touch Wiz UI on top. The battery capacity remains unchanged at 2100 mAh.
If these specs are true, Samsung Galaxy Grand Neo seems like a replacement for Samsung Galaxy Grand and will be launched at the same price. For now, we will wait for the official confirmation of these rumored specs which is expected to happen soon enough.
