We are present and Samsung Developer forum and Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo for India priced at Rs. 16, 490. The tablet was earlier introduced globally as Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite. The price of 3G variant has not been specified yet.
The 7 inch display sports 1024 x 600 pixel resolution analogous to domestic branded budget tabs present around 10k mark. The tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor backed by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. MicroSD support is also present up to 32 GB.
The Tab 3 Neo runs on Android 4.2 jelly bean with TouchWiz UI on top. The imaging hardware includes a 2 MP camera at the back. There is no front camera in this tablet. The tablet is 9.7 mm thick and weighs moderate 310 grams.
The battery capacity is 3600 mAh which according to Samsung will provide you with 8 hours of on screen time. Connectivity features include WiFi, WiFi direct, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS and GLONASS.
The launch price does seem a little high considering the hardware specifications. We will update you with Hands On Review of this tablet real soon.
