This phone comes with 5 Inch TFT LCD screen. The 5 Inch size is pretty much in demand and with a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, it will give you an above average pixel density of 220 ppi. Many Phones like Videocon A55 HD and Lava Iris 504 q will provide you with better HD IPS displays in the same price range.

This phone is powered by a Quad core processor clocked at a frequency of 1.2 GHz. Yes! this time Sony has opted for cheaper Mediatek processor over the usual Qualcomm processors we have seen in Xperia phones so far. With domestic manufacturers shipping more phones than big brand phones this Quarter (acc to IDC report), MediaTek Quad core devices in 15 K range is a smart move.

This Phone comes with Android 4.2 Jelly bean Operating system on the software front. The RAM capacity is 1 GB and the internal storage is standard 4 GB with which can be further extended to 32 GB using microSD card support.

Sony Xperia C comes with a 8 MP primary camera capable of full HD 1080 p video recording with features like video stabilization. This auto focus camera also comes with LED flash. A front VGA camera is also present. Hope fully Sony would not compromise on the lens quality and this camera will outperform other similar ones from domestic manufacturers.

The battery capacity is 2390 mAh which will give you 2G talk time of 14 Hrs. The standby tie is around 588 hrs on 2G. This battery backup is much above average and will definitely out perform the Domestic and Chinese OEMs array of budget Quad core devices in 10 to 20 k range. Connectivity features of this Dual SIM device include WiFi, Bluetooth, micro USB, and GPS.

A quad core device from Sony priced around 15,000 is expected to be well received in Indian market. The battery backup is quite impressive too. This phone will compete against phones like Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro and will be available for purchase on Saholic soon.
