Sony is taking Indian Market seriously, like all other major player and this has been evident from the timely release of phones like Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Sony Xperia Z1 in India, Something we hadn’t anticipated up to few months ago. This phone is expected to be announced next week on October 10th in Japan and we expect the device to come in India soon after.

According to the leaked specifications, this phone will sport a 4.3 Inch 720p Display which will give you 344 pixels per inches and that speaks for a fine clarity display. The display will also incorporate TRILUMINOUS technology similar to high end phones form Sony.

This phone will also be powered with latest and best 2.26 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad core processor. The RAM capacity might be 2GB and internal storage 16 GB. This, If True, would put the chipset specifications at par with Xperia Z1.

The much publicized 20.7 MP camera with G lens, seen in Xperia Z1 might find its place in the Mini version as well. Xperia Z1 was marketed as a High end camera specific phone and thus it would be nice to see Mini version to Identify with it as well. The Battery capacity is 2300 mAh which seems apt considering the reduced display size.

Sony leaks have mostly been true in the past, but we will know for sure next week with the official announcement in Japan Next week. This would appeal to those who like small phones easier to carry and use with one hand as it is small in size without compromising on the high end Specs.
