Spice mobiles will soon launch another phone in its stellar series, The Spice Stellar Glamour Mi-436. This new Budget android phone from spice is already being promoted on Company’s official Facebook page and boasts of 3G connectivity and a dual core processor. Seeing the specifications of this smartphone it will be competing with phones like recently launched Videocon A42 and Intex Cloud Y2.
This device comes with a 4 Inch Display with 480 x 800 pixel WVGA resolution giving you a pixel density of 233 pixels per inch which will be apt clarity for this size display. a denser display would have taxed its battery capacity reducing the talk time.
It is powered by a Dual core processor clocked at a frequency of 1.2 GHz, which is standard according to what most budget android devices are offering these days. On the software front this phone comes with Android 4.2 Jelly bean O.S. the RAM capacity is 512 MB and the internal storage is 4GB. Internal storage can be further extended to 32 GB using microSD support.
The primary camera is 5 MP and it comes with LED flash for low light photography. The front camera of 1.3 MP is also present for video calling. The camera features are very important for basic users who switch to android phones from feature phones. Since budget android phones target such users, camera specifications are significant. The camera features of this device are pretty standard and in line with what others are offering.
The battery capacity is 1400 mAh which slightly less on paper. How much talk time this would provide is still not specified. This device comes with Dual SIM feature along with Dual Standby. Other connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and 3.5 mm Audio jack.
Spice will also launch another budget android phone Spice Smart Flo Space Mi-354, with 1 GHz dual core processor. this device will sport a 3.5 Inch Display with 480 x 320 Pixel resolution. It features Android 4.2 Jelly bean operating system along with 256 MB RAM and 512 MB internal memory. Battery capacity is 1450 mAh and it features a 3 MP primary camera along with a 1.3 MP front camera.
The market has been flooding with recently launched budget android phones. This device is also targeted for first time smartphone users. The price has not been specified yet but it is expected to be around 6000 to 7000 INR. We will update this blog post with any new price and availability information that we come across.
