Xiaomi has sold over 25 million devices in India in 3 years

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has recently achieved a new milestone in India. The company claims to have reached the milestone of selling over 25 million handsets in India. After the excellent response to the Redmi Note 4, Xiaomi has become the fastest company to reach this mark in India.

Having sold 25 million smartphones so far means Xiaomi has sold 22,000 handsets every day for 3 years and 1 month. This number itself shows how popular the Chinese maker has become in India. The company took to Twitter with a video to show its excitement at reaching the 25 million mark.

Xiaomi reaches 25 million mark

After entering the Indian market in July 2014, Xiaomi has managed to set and break its own records. First, the company sold 1 million units of Mi 3, Redmi 1s, and Redmi Note combined by December 2014. The latest record by Xiaomi was the sale of 1 million Redmi 4 phones in just 30 days of the launch here in India.

As of now, Xiaomi has started a new hash tag #PortrayYourself on their official twitter handle. We strongly anticipate this to be the launch of Xiaomi Mi 5X here in India. Let us have a look at its specifications.
