Xiaomi Blackshark Gaming smartphone spotted on Geekbench

Xiaomi has been popular in India for making affordable smartphones and now the company is in the working on a smartphone for gaming. The smartphone had previously leaked in a banner image and the AnTuTu benchmarking website. Now, the smartphone has been leaked in another benchmarking website called Geekbench. The smartphone got a single core score of 2452 and a multicore score of 8452.

The leak came from Slashleaks, the smartphone is going will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM. The details confirm that the smartphone is the same which was previously leaked on AnTuTu benchmark.

The smartphone is coming with an inbuilt storage of 32GB and a full HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone got a score of 260,680 on the AnTuTu benchmark.

It is still unknown when Xiaomi is going to launch the smartphone, however, the company has reportedly launched a mobile gaming company called Black Shark. The Black Shark website confirmed that Xiaomi is one of its primary investors but it doesn’t confirm any information about the smartphone development.

The details of the smartphone are not revealing any specific component other than the smartphone is going to feature premium hardware. The only thing confirmed is the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Xiaomi is also going to use this processor in the Mi Mix 2S which will be arriving on March 27th.
