Xiaomi Mi A1 Rose Gold color variant now available in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has introduced a Rose Gold color variant of the Xiaomi Mi A1 here in India. This mid-range contender from Xiaomi comes with a premium build, dual cameras and much more.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 is the first smartphone from the company to come without, its customized skin, the MIUI. The phone comes with the Android One programme and runs stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This is the USP of the Xiaomi Mi A1. The company earlier talked at the launch about a rose gold color variant and it has now come to the market.

With the new Rose Gold color, there is one more color option in the Mi A1 to choose from. The specifications of the phone remain the same. To recall, the Xiaomi Mi A1 is a stock Android smartphone from Xiaomi. The device comes with a 5.5-inch IPS-LCD display bearing Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Mi A1 sports dual 12 MP (26mm, f/2.2; 50mm, f/2.6) with 2x optical zoom and dual tone (Dual LED) flash. A 5MP front-facing camera is also given for selfies and video calling. The phone supports video recording up to 2160p@30fps, 720p@120fps.

Coming to hardware, the Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with a Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. This combination is backed by 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There is also expandable storage option up to 128GB using a microSD card.

The phone runs Stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat and comes with an assured update to Android Oreo. Not only that, being with Android One programme, the security updates on the Mi A1 will also be fast and timely. The phone is packing a 3,080 mAh battery and it is a dual SIM 4G VoLTE device. Other connectivity options on the Mi A1 include Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, a 3.5mm earphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
