Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 gets a price cut in India: New price, specs and more

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has received a permanent price cut in India and the flagship device from Xiaomi is now available to purchase at Rs. 32,999 via offline retailers. However, Xiaomi has not officially announced the price cut yet and on Flipkart and Mi.com, it is still available at the older price.

Xiaomi had launched its bezel-less Mi Mix 2 in India back in October. The smartphone was launched in a single variant in India, featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Mi Mix 2 was launched with a price tag of Rs. 35,999. Now, a report from Gadgets 360 suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has received a price cut.

As per the report, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has received a price cut of Rs. 3,000 and now, it can be purchased at Rs. 32,999 from offline retailers. The significant price cut of Rs. 3,000 makes Mi Mix 2 a good competitor to the likes of OnePlus 5T.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 sports a 5.99-inch full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The dual SIM phone runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that is not expandable. The phone bears a ceramic body with a 7-Series aluminum frame and an 18K gold plated camera ring on the rear panel.

The Mi Mix 2 sports a 12MP primary camera with 4-axis optical image stabilization, 5P lens, a f/2.0 aperture, as well as a facial recognition. Up front, it has a 5MP front camera which comes with facial recognition feature which can be used to unlock the smartphone.

Connectivity options on the Mi MIX 2 include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, digital compass, gyroscope, and ultrasonic proximity sensor. The smartphone runs on a 3,400mAh battery.
