We already reported and confirmed that Gionee will be coming up with their new smartphone by mid of May and now Gionee has revealed their next smartphone named Gionee Elife E3 we already had the opportunity to lay hands on this device at MWC 2013 and now it will be revealed in India any time sooner. The price of this phone is 14,999 INR and this puts it near to the price range of Canvas A116 HD and Zen Ultraphone 701 HD.

With the screen size of 4.7 inch it provides you the HD display with the resolution 1280 x 720 pixels and the thickness of 7.9 mm actually impresses most of the users who prefer to use the slim phones. The primary camera on this phone is 8MP with Touch-Focus, Face Detection and Geo-Tagging. It has also got BIS sensor available in the camera which helps the users to capture the images in low light conditions, this camera is also eligible to record HD videos. The secondary camera on this phone is of 2MP.

It uses the Mediatek Quad Core Processor MTK6589 which is based on the ARM Architecture of Cortex A7 and believe me this architecture is quite out dated so as compared to the Quad Cores seen in Ultraphone 701 HD or Canvas HD this will be less powerful, this power is further supported by 1GB RAM. The battery strength is of 1800 mAh something not very much appreciable with such a screen size but it promises to provide the talk-time of 6hours on 2G (then I believe Lava Iris 458q will have great talk time).

The phone has got all the usual connectivity features like Bluetooth, WiFi, and 3G and apart from this when it comes to speaker quality then it boasts of this DTS feature (Digital Theatre System) to provide the users with the best audio possible on the device.

Gionee E3 Hands On Review

The internal memory capacity of the phone is 16GB which can be further extended up to 32GB with the help of external memory microSD card. Over the Air (OTA) feature on this phone will allow you to upgrade the software version of your phone on your own without taking your device to the service center. The phone is expected to be available in Red, Blue, and Graphite Black and White colors. Stay Tunes with us to know more about its availability on the online stores.
