The market share of BlackBerry has been falling consistently and amidst bad news pouring from all sides, good news for the loyal BlackBerry fans is that BlackBerry Q5 (Full Review), which was launched for Rs. 25,000 has received a price cut this festive season and is now available for Rs. 19,990.

BlackBerry Q5 comes with a 3.1 Inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 720 pixels with a pixel density of 328 pixels per inches. The display is really sharp and crisp and the viewing angles are good enough.

The BlackBerry Q5 is powered by 1.2 GHz Dual core processor. The processor performed decently in our time with the device. The RAM capacity is 2 GB and the internal storage is 8 GB. You can extend the storage to 64 GB using a microSD card. on the software front you will get the latest BB10 OS upgradeable to v10.1.

The primary camera of this QWERTY keypad phone is of 5 MP and is supported by LED flash and is capable of full HD 1080P video recording. A front camera of 2 MP is also present for high definition video calling. The Battery capacity is 2180 mAh and will easily last one day or more with moderate usage.

Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, aGPS, 3.5mm audio jack. The device can be used for navigation as well but the inbuilt maps don’t match the quality offered by Google Maps.

BlackBerry has somehow survived and has been bailed out by investors for a while. The company will now bring forth a new strategy in the year 20-14 to regain the lost market share. Slashing price in the fiercely competitive market is a good start.
