Micromax Canvas Mad A94, the much awaited phone from Indian behemoth Micromax will finally launch in India early next week. According to our sources, Micromax has already imported retail units on 10th January 2014. The smartphone will reportedly target Indian youth and pay them to watch Ads.
Micromax has already started with “Mad about Ads” contest on Television and Social Media channels to promote this upcoming smartphone which reportedly offers quad core chipset for as low as Rs. 7,499.
We spotted Micromax A94 on Antutu recently and the benchmark score of 13,630 substantiates the presence of low cost MT6582 quad core chipset with 4 CPU cores clocked at 1.3 GHz backed by 512 MB RAM, Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 4 GB internal storage.

According to leaked images, the Dual SIM phone will sport 4.5 inch display and feature average 5 MP/ VGA camera combination. The phone will compete with other MT6582 phones like Gionee Pioneer P3 and Intex Aqua i6.
According to our sources, Micromax will also partner with Tata DOCOMO to provide customers with subsidy on calls in exchange for watching advertisement. The service is already available to Tata DOCOMO users.
