Sony Mobiles Teases “Something Extraordinary” for MWC 2014

Launching a new flagship device Sony Xperia Z1, just a few months after Xperia Z didn’t go very well with many Sony loyalists around the globe and looks like it is going to repeat the same feet again. New Sony teasers promises advent of Something Extraordinary and this might very well be the new Xperia Z2 aka ‘Sirius’.

The pics of the phone were first leaked by a member of XDA forums. The phone features Omni-Balance design language earlier seen in top end Sony Xperia devices. Later a Leaked video also confirmed the presence of latest Android 4.4 kitkat.

The back camera is expected to carry a similar 20.7 MP sensor and this time around it will support 4K Video recording. The phone will also flaunt dual Stereo speakers and a High resolution 5.2 inch display. Hopefully this time around Sony has worked around the issues plaguing its IPS LCD displays which are often underwhelming. The RAM capacity  backing the Snapdragon 800 chipset will be 3 GB in line with what new flagship phones are offering.

The Sony Xperia Z2 was rumored for CES 2014 launch, but we never believed those rumors. The new teasers do point at a new flagship phone from Sony and on 24th February. Sony will indeed unleash this new beast at MWC 2014 next week and we are watching.

Something extraordinary is coming from Sony…[Video]
