On the outside, Lava Iris Pro 20 looks like Lava Iris Pro 30, domestic manufacturer’s flagship device, with slightly trimmed down specifications on the inside. Pro 20 runs on Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system and has the same sized 4.7 inch qHD 960 X 540 IPS LCD display with OGS technology and Gorilla Glass Protection.

The processor used is 1.2 GHz quad core chipset backed by 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. The chipset seems dated MT6589, but lava has not specified any details of The rear auto focus camera has an 8 MP sensor along with LED flash support and at the front, you will get a VGA shooter for basic video calling.

Iris pro is quite sleek with thickness measuring only 7.7 mm. It is even 2 grams lighter than Iris Pro 30 with only 112 grams of body weight. The battery powering the internals is rated at 2000 mAh, which is again average. Connectivity features include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The spec-sheet resembles what we see in budget quad core devices and the price range of 13,999 INR seems slightly high for the offering. It is beautiful on the outside without much effort visible in the guts. If you are looking for a slim, light and attractive device in this price range, this could be worth considering.
