Lenovo has officially launched its MediaTek Quad core processor powered A7-30 tablet (Quick Review) targeting does interested in Multimedia related usage on a large size portable display. The 7 inch tablet bears average specifications and has been priced at 9,979 INR.

The 7 inch display has 1024 x 600 pixels (170 ppi) which is not much in this price range. The resolution in league of low cost entry level tablets and you can easily get tablets with atleast HD display in this price range.

The processor used is MT8382 with 4 cortex A7 based cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. RAM capacity is 1 GB and internal storage is 16 GB expandable to 32 GB using MicroSD card slot. On the software front, it is fueled by Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, which is slightly dated now.

To take care of imaging department, Lenovo A7-30 features a 2 MP rear camera and a VGA fixed focus camera at the front. Inside the 10 mm thin chassis, Lenovo has housed a 3500 mAh thick battery. You will also get Dual speakers with Dolby audio support.

The tablet has similar specifications to Flipkart Digiflip Pro XT 712 tablet launched yesterday and both lie in the same price segment. Flipkart is also offering several introductory offers to further reduce the effective cost.
