Xolo’s Windows Phone smartphone, which we talked about last week, is now official. Xolo Win Q900s, is the world’s lightest phone at (100 gram) and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and is based on Qualcomm Reference design similar to Micromax Canvas Win w092 and Win w121.
The display is 4.7 inches in size and bears 720p HD resolution. The IPS LCD display flaunts OGS technology and also Dragon Trail Glass protection.
Since the device is based on Qualcomm reference design, you can see the same 1.2 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 200 MSM8212 processor with Adreno 302 GPU. The chipset also houses 1 GB RAM and 8 GB Internal storage.
Imaging hardware includes 8 MP PureCel Camera at the rear. PureCel represents family of extremely power efficient camera sensors from OmniVision, but we are not sure if it’s the latest OV8858 or OV2740. Imaging hardware also includes 2 MP front camera and LED flash support.
The dual SIM phone weighs only 100 grams and is only 7.2 mm thick. Inside the slim body cavity, it houses an 1800 mAh battery. Connectivity features include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS.
The phone has almost similar specifications as Micromax Win W121 and you can expect similar performance on both devices. The Xolo Win Q900s differentiate itself with a Slim and Sleek body design. The phone is available for pre-order on snapdeal for 9,999 and will start shipping next week.
