Xolo Q610S which we talked about recently is now official and has been priced at 7, 499 INR. It will replace Xolo Q600S which was launched couple of months back with Broadcom chipset and lesser Internal storage for the same price.
The Xolo Q610S features 4.5 inch IPS LCD display with FWVGA 854 X 480 pixel resolution amounting to 217 pixels per inches. The display is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad core MT6592M chipset aided by 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage, which makes it more in line with latest competition.
Imaging hardware remains same with 5 MP rear unit complimented by a VGA shooter at the front. According to Xolo, the rear camera is capable of Full HD 1080p video recording.
Battery capacity is 1700 mAh which is less than what we saw on Xolo Q600S. Xolo claims 377 hours of 3G standby time and up to 8 hours of 3G talk time which sounds decent enough. Phone also sports a faux leather finish back cover and dual SIM functionality. Other features include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Xolo Q610S provides with more internal storage and better chipset, but compromises on battery capacity and display resolution when compared to its predecessor. The phone has been listed for 7,499 INR and is expected to be available for purchase soon.
