Camera and Internal Storage

The camera unit at the back of the Swipe Sense is an 8 MP one that is coupled with LED flash and auto focus. Also onboard is a 3.2 MP front-facing selfie snapper that helps in making quality video calls and in clicking gorgeous self portrait shots. These aspects make the device a standard mid-ranger as far as the imaging department is concerned.

The native storage capacity of the handset is average at 8 GB that sounds impressive. Also, there is a micro SD expandable card slot that facilitates in expanding the default storage up to 32 GB. On the whole, this memory capacity should suffice in storing the necessary content on the handset.

Processor and Battery

The device is based on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz speed from the stable of MediaTek. While this processor should be capable enough of delivering a decent performance, it is aided by 1 GB of RAM that will take charge of multi-tasking.

The battery unit energizing the Swipe Sense is a 2,250 mAh one that s rated to deliver a decent backup to the mid-range handset. Also, the package bundles an additional 2,250 mAh battery that can help in emergency situations.

Display and Features

The Swipe Sense is given a 5.5 inch IPS display that packs qHD screen resolution of 960×540 pixels. The resolution appears to be too low as compared to the size of the screen, but given the pricing of the tablet it should be acceptable.

Running on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, the Swipe offering packs connectivity features such as dual SIM functionality, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG for easier transfer for files between two devices. An interesting aspect of the device is that it features an in-built fingerprint sensor for enhanced security making it the only device in this price bracket to arrive with such a feature.

The Swipe Sense will enter a direct rivalry with smartphones such as Micromax A108 Canvas L, Xolo Q2000L and Micromax Canvas XL2 A109.

The Swipe Sense handset arrives with good set of specifications for its pricing. The inclusion of a fingerprint sensor at its back is another feature which makes it stand apart from the crowd. Other specifications are actually pretty basic and in case you are willing to settle for a smaller screen size you can also opt for some foreknown 5 Inch display phones like Zenfone 5 for same price of 9,999 INR.
