Karbonn has launched a low cost Windows OS based smartphone, its first one, dubbed as Karbonn Titanium Wind W4. The handset will compete with Micromax Canvas Win W092 which lies in the same price bracket.
The display is 4 inches in size and features WVGA 480 x 800 pixels across it. Titanium Wind W4 is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. Storage can be expanded using MicroSD card support.
The hardware seems good enough to smoothly support latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS. The dual SIM smartphone also has a 5 MP AF rear camera with LED flash support for low light photography. A VGA camera is present on the front side for basic video calling.
There is no word on the battery capacity as of now. Karbonn Titanium Wind W4 is retailing on Amazon.in for 5,999 INR, which makes it the cheapest Windows Phone device that you can buy in India.
