LG has announced the L Fino smartphone along with the others including L Bello and G3 Stylus respectively. The smartphone has been launched officially for Rs 12,990 via e-commerce portal Flipkart. It borrows some design aspects from the flagship model, LG G3 with the rear key feature. Let’s take a look at the quick review of the LG L Fino below.
Camera and Internal Storage
The primary camera in the handset is an 8 MP primary camera with auto focus and LED flash. Along with this, there is a front-facing VGA shooter that that can take care of video conferencing. Furthermore, the UX interface brings about the impressive Gesture Shot and Touch & Shoot features to the photography enthusiasts. These features make the handset pretty astounding, but the front facer needs improvement.
The internal storage is standard at 4 GB that is too low, but there is an expandable micro SD card slot onboard that will support additional storage up to 32 GB. The storage is nothing exceptional considering the price tag the handset carries.
Processor and Battery
The chipset used is a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor that employs 1 GB of RAM to render decent mutli-tasking. This hardware combination of a quad-core processor and moderate RAM makes the LG phone yet another standard offering. But, for this pricing, there are power packed devices in the market that arrive with larger RAM and octa-core chipsets.
A 1,900 mAh battery that powers the smartphone from within and it is rated to pump in a moderate backup of up to 15 hours of talk time and up to 345 hours of standby time respectively on 3G.
Display and Features
There is a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display has carries a WVGA resolution of 800×480 pixels that sounds pretty average with a low pixel density of 207 pixels per inch. The viewing angles should be acceptable with decent color reproduction as the handset incorporates an IPS panel. Also, there is Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection onboard to prevent scratches and damage. Again, for the price that the handset asks such a low resolution screen is quite disappointing. .
LG L Fino runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system and it features standard connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Also, the handset packs in some camera centric features such as Gesture Shot and Knock Code and comes with rear key design as aforementioned.
