Spice has launched another quad core smartphones, Spice Stellar 524, which combines the best on paper specification with a glittering 13 MP camera unit for a price tag of 8,899 INR.

The display is 5 inches in size with 720p HD resolution. The IPS LCD display with 294 ppi is sounds crisp enough for under 10K device. The display will mirror Android 4.4 Kitkat, powered by 1.3 GHz quad core MT6582 SoC.

For efficient multi tasking, there is 1 GB RAM, 8 GB Internal storage and option for up to 32 GB MicroSD expansion. The chipset has been scattered all placed this year including the Android One smartphones.

Imaging hardware includes a 13 MP shooter, with LED flash and 1080p video recording. It remains to be seen how MT6582 SoC handles this more than conventional pixel count. A 3.2 MP front camera is also present for selfies.

All hardware will draw its power from a 2000 mAh battery inside. Other features include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The handset is retailing on Spice’s own retail portal Saholic for 8,990 INR. Other options include Zenfone 5 8 GB, Karbonn Titanium S19 and Huawei Honor Holly.
