OnePlus Accessories Won’t be Available in India At Launch

OnePlus India Boss Vikas Agarwal’s latest Interview, posted on OnePlus Forums, doesn’t answer any key questions regarding India availability or pricing, but yes we now know that OnePlus One Accessories won’t be available in India anytime soon.

“Launching all accessories at launch is neither feasible nor advisable. As a startup, we have budgetary and production constraints and thus have to minimize our risk exposure at every step. Based on user feedback and our understanding of the market, we will gradually launch more accessories.”

The interview follows more of a personal approach to help forum members connect with the new India General Manager on a personal level. We get to know what he looks like, how he used to be a Nexus Fan, his choice of music, food and India connect.

OnePlus officially introduced Vikas Agarwal, India General Manager last week. We also know that the company will be introducing an India Specific Invite system to begin with instead of a Pre-order system. OnePlus one is expected to be official in India before the end of this year. And Yes, you won’t need a Paypal Account as all payment methods will work.

“Our simple strategy is to solely focus on user satisfaction to build a strong community of informed and loyal users through word-of-mouth publicity as our sole promotion strategy. The collective might of our users would be sufficient to deter competitors and thwart any predatory attempt.”
