CES 2015: Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro with 13 MP Selfie Camera Announced

Lenovo received positive reviews for its innovative layered smartphone Vibe X2 and now at CES 2015, the company has unveiled its 64 bit successor, the Vibe X2 Pro.

The Vibe X2 Pro is fitted with a 5.3 inch display which features 1080p full HD resolution. It’s an IPS LCD display with good viewing angles. The Vibe X2 Pro will replace Mediatek MT6595 with Snapdragon 615 quad core chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz.

The chipset is backed by 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The storage is further extpandable by another 32 GB using MicroSD card slot. On the software front it will be running Android 4.4 KitKat based Vibe ROM.

Similar to HTC One M8 EYE, this one two comes with two 13 MP camera units one at the rear side (with LED flash) and one at the front. There is no flash for the front camera, but Lenovo has designed VIBE Xtension Selfie Flash accessory which will more than make up for it.


Inside its 6.95 mm slim body, this phone houses a 2410 mAh battery and weighs moderate 140 grams. Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro will be limited edition smartphone which comes with a metallic body. Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro will be available in Champagne Gold, Rock Pink and Electric Blue, starting later in April 2015. There is no word on the price or global availability details yet.
