Earlier this week, Lava was in the headlines for the launch of the Lava Iris 465 smartphone priced at Rs 4,499. Now, the vendor has again surfaced on news as it is claimed to announce a tablet called Lava Xtron Mega. The forthcoming slate has been listed on the official Lava website revealing its specifications.
As per the listing, the Lava Xtron Mega is fitted with a 10.1 inch IPS multi touch display that features a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Under its hood, there is a 1.3 GHz quad core Action ATM7029B processor backed by 1 GB of RAM for moderate performance and multitasking. Storage needs of the user are taken care by 8 GB of default storage space that can be expanded by another 32 GB using a micro SD card.
For imaging, the Lava Xtron Mega is given a 2 MP main camera at its back and a VGA selfie snapper up front for basic videoconferencing. Other goodies of the tablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, micro USB and dual SIM functionality for connectivity, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and a 6,000 mAh battery to energize it.
