Karbonn Titanium Mach Two S360 Quick Review, Price and Comparison

Updated on 2015-3-14: Slim and light weight Karbonn Titanium Mach Two has been officially launched in India. The handset is extremely light at 112 grams, has Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the display and lists several gesture features.

After the launch of the Platinum P9 with a great selfie focused snapper, Karbonn has come up with the Mach Two S360 smartphone. This one seems to be the successor of the Titanium Mach One S310 that was launched earlier this year. The latest offering is available from eBay India for a pricing of Rs 9,715. The highlight of the Mach Two S360 is similar to that of the Platinum P9 with an 8 MP selfie shooter at the front. Let’s take a quick review on the device to know its capabilities based on its hardware.

There is an 8 MP primary snapper on the Karbonn Titanium Mach Two S360. This main camera sensor is accompanied by LED flash that will facilitate in clicking enhanced low light shots. Also, up from there is a selfie focused snapper as mentioned above. Well, the front facer on the Karbonn device is again an 8 MP snapper that can make click detailed selfies. These days, smartphones priced in the sub Rs 10,000 price bracket are coming up with such 8 MP front facing snappers and this handsets falls in that category that has a few offerings.

The storage aspects remain standard at 8 GB of native storage support that can be expanded by another 32 GB using a micro SD card. This is pretty average for any device in this price bracket, but there are some smartphones with 16 GB of storage capacity as well.

The device uses a 1,900 mAh battery that sounds unimpressive for a smartphone of this pricing. As of now, there is no word on the backup that this battery can render, but we can expect moderate hours of backup from this mediocre battery.

The Karbonn Titanium Mach Two S360 is given a 5 inch IPS display with a HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. This screen is good and decent enough for the pricing of the phone. It can render good viewing angles and the required sharpness without any hassle.

The Titanium Mach Two S360 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Like any other smartphone in this segment, this phone comes with dual SIM support, 3G connectivity and other standard aspects including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

The device carries a sharp display, capable processor and other requires aspects that a device in this pricing should have. Of course, there better offerings in this price bracket with 4G connectivity as well making this one a little overly priced for this specifications.
