Micromax Canvas Juice 2 AQ5001 With 2 GB RAM Launched At 8,999 INR

Updated on 2015-3-19: Micromax Canvas Juice has been launched for 8,999 INR, which is lesser than what we had anticipated. From press renders, it appears that Micromax has trimmed down horizontal bezel to a great extent.

Big Battery phones seem to be the latest rage among budget conscious buyers, as is evident from profuse and frequent launch of phones like Celkon Millennia Epic, Gionee Marathon M3, Intex Aqua Power and numerous Lava Iris fuel devices.

Latest to join the league is Micromax Canvas Juice 2, which will flaunts a tempting 3000 mAh battery, and was spotted by folks at MicromaxCanvas.

Taking better advantage of this sappy battery, as compared to its successor Canvas Juice A177, this latest entrant in Canvas series offers a 5 Inch HD display with 720p HD resolution, layered with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top.

Canvas Juice 2 is running the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad core processor with 2 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage. There is an 8 MP rear camera, with what looks like a dual LED flash in images.

The handset also flaunts a trendy brushed metal finish on the rear cover along with Wolfson Stereo DAC Speakers. The device is expected to be official soon and we expect a price of little more than 10, 000 INR. Raw specs are similar to Lenovo S860 which comes with a 4000 mAh battery and is selling for around 14,000 INR in India.
