Lava has launched a camera centric flagship smartphone called Lava Icon for a pricing of Rs 11,990. The device has been made available on sale both offline and online. The Lava Icon is given a 13 MP snapper at its back with Sony Exmor sensor under a 5p wide F2.0 aperture lens to capture more light. Up front, the device boasts of a 5 MP seflie snapper with Omni Vision sensor, 4p F2.4 aperture lens. Also, the handset’s imaging hardware is complemented with Beauty Mode and other software enhancements for to make it more appealing for the selfie enthusiasts.

The Lava Icon is bestowed with a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a HD screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. This screen with an average pixel density of 294 pixels per inch is protected with the Dragon-Trail glass that makes it scratch resistant. This screen seems to be sharp enough to handle all the basic functionalities without any issues.

Running on Lava’s custom Android skin called Star OS, the users of Lava Icon can draw custom symbols to lock the screen or launch an app. There are connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and dual SIM support.
