HTC is doing well with its mid-range Desire series portfolio, new entrants of which feature dual tone design. Today HTC has added another smartphone, HTC Desire 820G+, which is a watered down variant of HTC Desire 820 and Desire 820s.
HTC Desire 820G+ offers the same attractive dual tone design, but on the inside, it employs 32 bit MediaTek MT6592 True Octa Core chip clocked at 1.7 GHz, aided by only 1 GB RAM. There is 16 GB native storage, 32 GB MicroSD expansion option, and unspecified Android version with HTC Sense 6.0 skin on top. The display is 5.5 Inches and is layered with 1280 x 720 pixels.
Other features include 13 MP rear camera with F2.2 aperture 28 mm wide angle lens, 8 MP front shooter, HTC Boomsound dual frontal speakers, Dual SIM connectivity, 3G and 2600 mAh battery.
It feels a bit overpriced at 19,990, especially since HTC Desire 820s which we find to be the easiest recommendation in HTC mid range desire portfolio, is selling for slightly lesser today. However, this is the launch price which HTC has calculated keeping its offline distribution network in mind and will be slashed after first few weeks.
