Chinese manufacturer Meizu has announced another low cost but promising handset, the M2 in China priced at 599 Chinese Yuan (6000 INR approx).
To start with, the 5 Inch HD display on Meizu M2 has an admirable screen-to-body ratio of 75.6%. Besides its hard to turn a blind eye to a 13 MP rear camera / 5 MP front camera(wide aperture 4p lens) combination in this budget. The rear camera also lists LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture, 5p lens, and Gorilla Glass 3 to resist scratches.
MediaTek’s 64 bit MT6735 quad core chip clocked at 1.3 GHz and paired with with Mali-T720 GPU and 2 GB RAM, will ensure smooth performance and multitasking. Other features include 16GB internal storage, hybrid dual SIM, Android 5.1 Lollipop based FlymeOS, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS.
Meizu has been teasing its products in India for quite some time now without any discernible retail model, and thus it is tough to comprehend how soon or how often you will get a chance to buy Meizu M2 in India. In China, it is available for pre-order right now and will go on sale starting 3rd August next week.
