The P680 comes with the latest Android OS Lollipop installed with a Mediatek 1.3 quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM powering it. The device comes with 11 GB of storage which can be upgraded to 32 GB via MicroSD and the package also features a USB OTG cable which lets you transfer data between the tablet and a portable device On The Go.
It is equipped with a 5 MP rear camera that comes with flash and a 2 MP front camera which should work well for those selfies and video calls. Additional features include dual SIM capabilities, Bluetooth 4.0 , 3G/WiFi connectivity and a 4000mAh battery that should last you several hours.
The CEO of Micromax Informatics, Vineet Taneja at the launch said, “With the launch of this new tablet model P680, users will get the best immersive audio and video experience, giving them a full- fledged entertainment sojourn.”
He went on to add, “Our new range of Canvas Tabs has helped us grow to become a leading player in the tablet category. Our tablets now offer an immersive internet and entertainment experience to our consumers. Our range has been very well received by consumers and we continue to grow the category as also the use case for the large scale adoption of the tablet form factor and hence the larger display size”.
