Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 (2nd Gen) Launched in India Starting INR 5,299

Taiwanese company Asus has launched a new and refreshed variant of its previously launched Zenfone Go 4.5, which was launched in December last year. Moreover, the new Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 will also come in two variants. The two variants are different from each other in Camera specifications. The lighter variant will have 5 MP primary camera and 0.3 MP front camera, whereas the other variant will be equipped with 8 MP primary camera and 2 MP front camera.

Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 (2nd Gen) has a 4.5-inch FWVGA display(same as the earlier version) with a screen resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm processor while the earlier variant came with a Media tek processor. It has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 64 GB with a microSD card, moreover, Asus will also offer up to 100GB of free cloud storage via Asus WebStorage. Operating system is Android 5.1 Lollipop which runs Zen user interface on the top.

Talking about the camera, as mentioned earlier, it will come in two variants one with a 5MP primary camera and 0.3 MP front camera, the other with a 8 MP primary camera and 2 MP front camera. Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.

This dual SIM smartphone is backed by a 2070mAh battery. It weighs around 125 grams, its dimensions are 136.5x67x11mm.


The phone will soon be available on online stores like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, PayTM, Shopclues, company’s online store and other offline stores also. The Lighter variant is priced at Rs. 5,299 and the one with a better camera is priced at Rs. 5,699. The phone will be available in a wide variety of colors namely Glamour Red, Pearl White, Lemon Yellow, Glacier Grey, Silver Blue, and Sheer Gold.
